Bled bus station

Service Description

A combination of exciting gravel roads and incredible views. Leaving Bled, we make our way north through a small valley, riding alongside streams in the forest, past a World War II monument. Before we turn off the paved roads, we ride past a monument of Jakob Aljaž, known, among other things, for building a tower on Triglav, Slovenia's highest mountain. From there, gravel roads will take us along the Upper Sava valley, combining the adrenaline of offroad riding with incredible views. We then begin our descent from under Golica mountain, immortalized by Brothers Avsenik in their song 'Na Golici', which is the most played instrumental tune in the world. After a short detour through the town of Jesenice we return to gravel roads and ride over a 50m high dam on the river Sava, before making our final climb high above the valley, where we are rewarded with a scenic view of the entire valley, with Lake and Castle Bled in the centre. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and is 40% gravel and 60% on paved roads.
